Harlow ppl~! Finally the entry that u've all been waiting for,

Freshman Orientation Camp 2008!

Whenever i try to blog abt those events that last a few days, i always think its a damn big hassle. Becos u got to slowly retrace back wat u did, then recall how u feel. Its really difficult at times when u simply feel so tired after the event, and when its time to blog, u feel like u lost the drive to describe how u felt at that time. That's y i figured that if i dun blog today, the FOC entry is going to lose its spirit.

Ok, let mi start fom the beginning (Yes, i promise u this is going to be looooooonnggg). It all started after FOD 2008, i was waiting for the Royalties (Check my blog for whu they are) to come to my place for BBQ, then i received a call saying that i'm going to be a OGL for FOC leading OG7! Whoo~! Can u imagine my joy at that time??? "Yes! i did it~! I finally become OGL, somemore for FOC! Only 20 OGL slot available! HAHAHAH

Damn proud lah, i didnt tell the royalties anything until they asked. I think they too were quite surprised, so i ya-ya already then tell Sherwin and Stef this : "Ur legend of Champion OG ends here... Cos now got mi~!!" (Yah rite, damn proud lah, see wat happen to mi now ahahha)

15th July - OGL and GM Reporting

Went to Aloha Loyang in the morning, super tired but all ready for the fun. Met the GMs and OGLs at the Mac. That day was the dry run for the games within the pasir ris park, kana sabo by Sherwin and Stef to demo for the Poiseidon's Tears station. (The 1 that u haf to tied ur legs wif ur partner and go to the sea to collect water...sian all drenched) Poor Joyce also kana becos she was my partner OGL hahah. After that, still drenched but drying up liao, we went for the SP dance practice. I feel like i'm falling sick lah, wet thru-out the day and still drizzling somemore... COLD~!

We had BBQ for dinner, thankfully i didnt haf to taste Sherwin's chicken wing of death lah. But food was ok lah, not alot to eat also.. After that went swimming.. Waited for Chee Boon for like 40mins.. Cant blame him lah, he haf to wait for the girls, then as u all noe, girls are still girls... Hai~~ We swim for like quite a while until the security chase us out, then went back to our terrace and i started to tie the "Dumplings" for my OG. Take mi and Joyce a few hrs to do it lah! Thankfully my freshies nv complain abt it..

Slping was terrible!! Whoa lau dunno they siao or wat, air-con dun need $ !! SUPER COLD LAH! After staying in the rm for like 1 hr, I finally conceit and went outside to slp. Like some Bangala slping on the floor along the corridor lah. Super pathetic.. Slp count for the first day, 2hrs...

16th July - Arrival of the Freshies

I was suppose to be damn excited lah, but the lack of slp somehow cut my enthu level by half. But~!! I'll nv wan to show my freshies the sian 1/2 face for the 1st time we meet lah, super bad impression, so i brace myself up and welcome them wif open arms~! It was only when we reach the camp then i realise that my lack of experience in being OGL and not attending FOC slowly shows. I really couldnt think of any single ice breaking game in mind! Gdness, thankfully Joyce was there! If not for her, i think i'll juz end up crapping wif the freshies non-stop.

Games commences shortly after the briefing was done. I must say i'm satisfied wif my freshies becos even thou i suck at leading them in the games (Actually OGL not suppose to lead them lah), they can handle themselves with or without Joyce leading them.

For the second consecutive day, I kana sabo at Poiseidon's Tears... Thrown into the sea by my freshies. Other OGL dry for 2 days... I also OGL but i drenched for 2 days... Nvm, its fun also lah. Too monotonous also no fun. The most interesting highlight was the tele-match (Is this the correct spelling??) Everybody was in such funny state that i cant help laughing, total chaos was when everybody started dumping camo creams, flour and other weird stuffs at each other. Thanks to my freshies and fellow OGLs/GMs, this is the end product...

At nite, the SP (Secret pal/special partner/etc i forgot wat it was) Preview was absolutely hilarious. Freshies were blindfolded and lead to sit back to back with his/her SP with 3 mins of interaction time. I could still remember the expression on the freshies when i lied to them how their SP looked like after the event HAHAHH! Some of the "lies" i've said are

I think she's 3 finger taller than u when sitting down
Dun worry she's juz ard 60kg wif 150cm height
She's damn muscular
I think she's a butch (HAHAHAH)

Wat a day for the freshies. Whereas for us, its another tiring day of rushing and fitting into the scheduled timings.. Freaking draining... Slp count for the second day, 4hrs..

17th July - Ard Singapore Treasure hunt

By the third day, i was really fully drained out. The treasure hunt / amazing race thingy was far more taxing than i could imagined. Running and rushing ard only to find out that i cant complete the stations. I feel a little depress becos our OG's score for the 1st day was rather high, and by not completing the stations, we're bound to lose the lead. Nevertheless, as long as they enjoyed it, I'm more than happy~ I was veri grateful to Joyce for her enthu-ness despite our serious lack of rest, I wasnt really able to maintain the level of enthu-ness that is required to lead the OG. Thanks to her, the OG still has someone to depend on.

OGLs Ready For Treasure Hunt

The race ended and the freshies are treated to a "nice" dinner wif the SP that they're been anticipating. I could barely hide and surpress my laughter when i see them talking to each other and making weird eye signs to mi~!! During the first meet-up, some even went to toliet to laugh!! WTF?? I bet they must be having hell of a "fun" time together. I certainly hope that they like their SP... or maybe not?

1 thing i really admired abt my partner Joyce is that after the SP Walk at near 3am, she still has got the strength to visit the OG in their bungalow!! Seeing her so high-spirited, i decided not to spoil the fun and went along wif her, fighting against the extreme exhaustion and the slp monster that is soon upon mi. I didnt really last long, after abt 45mins, i left them and went to slp... Slp count for the third day, 1hr !!!!!

18th July - Finale

I was in total trance mode with no sense of tiredness, i guess that's not the 1st few times when i reached this kind of deprivation from slp (Its veri common to reach such level when i was in NS).
The respective OGs then presented their mascots and flag to the camp, while waiting for the final result determining the champion OG.

Turns out Azan and Debbie's OG8 won the champion... HAHAHA seriously i really didnt see that coming. But nevertheless, congrats Azan and Debbie~! Following that was a series of the longest cam/vid whore session ever! hahaha maybe it was due to the exhaustion that i wasnt veri keen on taking pics (Another reason is the stupid big pimple that pop out on my face).

The OGLs

FOC ended and OG7 decided to go Downtown East for lunch~ As we were walking towards my car, i thot the side of my car was a little weird... somehow it seems to haf more 'patterns' on it... Thinking that it must be my eyes playing a little harmless joke on mi, this cute little joke gradually turn to a horrifying truth as i approaches nearer!! i realised to my horror the sides were DENTED!!! Whoa Lau~! my car cui enough already lah, which Cockster still bang into mi??? Wat a farewell present from Aloha Loyang!

So let's do a summary from this camp and see wat i got after these few days... 7hrs of slp, plus a dented car... Wat a magnificent life i got~~~ Even Army regulation states a minimun of 7hrs of slp per day lah (Do u even believe in the existence of this welfare?).

Ok, ignore mi... That was juz some whining~(ahahaha) I think it was seriously worth coming for this camp. I got to noe a grp of great freshies and a great partner! Thanks a lot u ppl! I really appreciate the cooperations that u've all given mi, and the tolerance towards my inexperience and inabilities at times... (Thanks for the Sabo too~!). we'll be having more outings soon~! As for now, next up~! POST FOC BASH~!!
