Once there was a young boy who was bought up in a good family. He was constantly taught discipline and values of life. Keeping in mind the teachings that his parents taught him, he grew up to be a fine young man. He set a dream of being a billionaire that he would one day fulfill not for himself, but for the ones he loves.

He worked hard for his entire life, never allowing himself to lose sight of his goal. At last on his fortieth birthday, he finally attained his life long dream.

On the night of his birthday celebration, he announced the news of his retirement. With the massive wealth that he has obtained, he thought to himself that its finally time to enjoy the fruits of his hardships.

The very next morning when he woke up, there was two letters placed neatly on his study's table. He took the first letter and opened it; it was a report from the bank summarizing a portion of his wealth. However, the second letter was a report from his private doctor, stating the result of his check-up last month.

Being officially on retirement, his employees certainly wasn't expecting him to be doing his routine work after he stepped into the office. Out of curiosity, his secretary decided to clear her doubts with him. This is what he said:

"I've lived my life this way for years, i wouldn't know what to do if i ever stop...The only way i could find myself is within this job of mine..."

After his death two months later, his friends found out that he had actually suffered from cancer. Unknowingly even to himself, the crucial period of time when he could still be cured was when he was fighting his hardest for his goal that were within reach. That had clearly been a catalyst to his condition. Apparently when he went for the check-up, it was already too late.

He spent the final days of his life continuing his work... The only sanctuary that was once the place he believes there is things to fight for... The place that would make him feel that he's still alive... And the only place that would give him hope... The glimpse of hope from the past...
