The things that revolves...

-=:][ Weekend & OCH][:=-

Category: , By seryew
Life really is different without a car now if u ask mi. Perhaps i've really been too used to driving that i've clean forgotten those days in NS when i haf to wake up super early and spent hrs of time traveling. Waking up before the sun rise is indeed a nostalgic feeling... not forgetting the feeling of dozing off on the bus trip to sch...

This few weeks was rather fun, been playing badminton frequently wif HoYang and involving wif the bash and pageant preparation. Must say its really quite a lot of work, but i hope ultimately things will work out.

Attended the YEN (Youth Entrepreneur Network) camp during the weekends. I must say given the limited man-power and resources they had, the camp was rather gd (in contrast to wat i anticipated hahah). I did haf fun, althou the games segment almost ruin my phone. Congrats on the success of the camp: Sheena, Shermaine, Janice and Huilin! Well Done!

Now for the main highlights of this post.. Something that will sure interest u ppl... My personal pictorial and guide to OCH (Old Changi Hospital).

After the camp, we were suppose to go for lunch together wif the OG (orientation group), but becos i die die wanted to go and take some pics, end up only Steve and ShengJie wanted to join mi.

The slope that leads up to OCH from the main road

One of the buildings that u'll pass by while going up the slope. (apparently its been repainted and ppl often mistook this as OCH, which is obviously not the truth)

The communication tower juz before u reach the boundary of OCH

Finally OCH (not as big as u imagined eh?)

More to go~

Imagine how eerie it is at nite

That's mi! Photo courtesy of ShengJie

This place sure has a lot of artist as visitors

See how ruined the place is.. pls be cautious at all times when u are here

cont'

Up the stairs to the 2nd floor...

The famous spots where u can find cult's ritual leftovers. ( After all these yrs, this spot sure has worn out quite a fair bit compared to wat it was few yrs ago when i was here. As u can see, nothing was there when i checked the place.)

One of the many rooms that used to house patients

The reason y i always insist on people wearing shoes to OCH.

The endless corridor ( try to visualize this at nite..)

Trying to read wat these artist are expressing

Looking down from the 2nd Floor

The rumored lift

View overlooking to the sea

The 3rd floor

Frankly speaking, juz looking at the pics alone doesnt seem scary isnt it? Well, all i can say is that even when its broad daylight i could feel a little uneasy as i was walking thru the place. Call it paranoid, but isn't it suppose to be the way?

My personal opinion is that if u're not really that daring or courageous, try going in the day instead of the nite. Reason being, it a hell of a big diff! I simply cant imagine how freaked out ppl will be when they visit for the 1st time... in the nite!

Hope u enjoyed this post! for frens that haf experience in visiting OCH, do drop a comment ok? And for ppl that are curious, do not hesitate to post ur qns too!
